Brief Description of Position
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Student to join our team in Copenhagen on a part-time basis and assist with various IT support tasks. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing essential support to our global workforce, both locally and remotely, across various locations worldwide.
As a Junior IT Support Student, you will be exposed to various IT help desk tasks, working closely with our international IT team. You will get to collaborate with other members of the team to provide more than 400 users' comprehensive support, contribute to the smooth operation of our IT systems. The position is part of the IT Help Desk Team, and you will primarily work with Microsoft 365, including Azure Active Directory, Office 365 administration, Windows 10/11 maintenance and updates, and Microsoft Teams.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will support initiatives including
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and requests from end users in regard to incident management and requests for hardware and software.
- Installation, setup, and maintenance of devices Windows & IOS.
- Handling service desk cases in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution according to agreed SLA times.
- Providing remote IT support to colleagues across various locations via online/phone.
- Diagnosing software and hardware problems to find effective solutions.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing among colleagues to create and implement best practice.
- Supporting device rollouts, onboarding/offboarding, and helping install equipment onsite.
- Engaging in knowledge sharing to promote best practices.
- Taking ownership of your personal development to continuously grow and build your skills.
- Other Ad hoc tasks
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Be enrolled in a relevant study program with at least 2 years left of your education.
- Have familiarity with end-user computing systems like Microsoft and Apple products, O365, Azure, and iOS/Android devices.
- Show an interest in troubleshooting and working with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Be eager to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, a service-minded attitude, and the ability to work independently.
- Be proficient in both written and spoken English.
