The job as Student Analyst
As our new Student Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the Treasury and Risk teams. Your primary focus will be maintaining existing workflows and improving or developing new models to ensure the Treasury and Risk functions are fully equipped to support MFT Energy’s trading operations.
We’ll provide comprehensive training on our current operations, models, and the energy markets. Initially, your responsibilities will center around assisting the Treasury team with daily tasks, including liquidity management and cash flow forecasting. Over time, as you grow in the role, you’ll also take on more cross-functional tasks that support both the Treasury and Risk teams, given their overlapping workflows.
More specifically, you will:
- Conduct day-to-day liquidity management while maintaining and assist in optimizing and running our cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank guarantees and currency risk.
- Help ensure MFT Energy maintain financial stability, have a solid capital structure, and stay focused on optimizing our working capital.
- Support and develop new analyses and reports across the Risk and Treasury functions.
- Maintain and improve various Risk and Treasury developed models.
- Ad-hoc support to both Risk and Treasury team members.

We envision, you:
- Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Take responsibility and can work and learn independently but value being part of a strong team.
- Have an analytical mindset and strong communication skills.
