Student Assistant, Supply Chain Sustainability PMO - Aarhus

Do you want to be our new Student Assistant? We are looking for an ambitious individual who is passionate about sustainability and energy optimization. Would you like to gain valuable, professional experience in relation to your education?

As our new student assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the Supply Chain Sustainability team with day to day tasks, but mainly owning our team’s newsletter, collecting success stories that are to be published on a quarterly basis. Together, we drive the sustainability agenda within Arla’s supply chain and support the sites in achieving the ambitious long-term carbon reduction targets. For 2025, the main task for the team will continue to be on energy optimization and how we can reduce Arla’s carbon footprint through optimizations, introducing new technologies and driving engagement across the whole organisation.

How will you make an impact
As our Student Assistant, you will be supporting the team on various tasks within the sustainability area with the primary focus on driving communication and knowledge sharing across supply chain and help organizing team events.

More specifically tasks include:

• Own newsletter and keep sustainability communication material updated
• Help the team gathering data on current state situation on the sites
• Create ad hoc presentations
• Update team SharePoint site
• Support individual team members with various tasks
  • Ad hoc data analysis
  • Support our emerging technologies agenda
  • Send communication material to sites (f.e. as part of sustainability programs)

What will make you successful
You are currently studying and are within the last year of your bachelor or first year of your master’s degree within an Engineering, Energy or Food Production-oriented discipline. You should be proactive, able to work independently, and have a passion for Energy Technology and sustainability.

We assume that you:

• Will be based in Aarhus area so that you are able to work approximately 2 days per week from the head office (~15hours) – with flexible hours
• Have strong communication skills in English (Verbal & Written)
• You are a team player who likes to collaborate with teams across countries and functions
