Student Assistant, Sustainability & Social Responsibility

Since 2019, Flying Tiger Copenhagen has worked intensively to develop and implement a more circular mindset throughout the company. We are super ambitious, science based and pragmatic - and see ourselves as front runners in the green transition of the retail industry. You will be exposed to global sustainability challenges across a complex value chain and product portfolio. As our new Student Assistant, you will report directly to the Director of Sustainability and Social Responsibility and be part of a dynamic, fun loving (with dark humor), cake eating team located in our international HQ Office at Strandgade, Christianshavn - in the heart of Copenhagen.

This is the job
Your main responsibility will be:

• Assessment and recommendations of all our new products based on circular principles
• Data collection and analysis of evolving Sustainability areas
• Assisting with ESG reporting

• Support with ad hoc coordination and project assistance on tasks when it is required

This is you
You have knowledge and passion for sustainability and circular economy including upcoming legislations. You have an analytical approach to tasks and enjoy constant learning and working through grey zones. You are positive, outgoing, and not shy to reach out to stakeholders with random questions.

We imagine you are approaching the end of your bachelor’s degree or just beginning your Master’s degree.

We expect the following:

• Strong data analysis skills
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus
• Proficient communication skills
• Proactive attitude and innovative thinking
• Administration and coordination skills

We are looking for a Student Assistant available to begin in January 2025. We expect you to work approximately 15 hours per week. However, we are flexible during exam periods.
