Why is this role important to us?
At SimCorp, we facilitate the streamlining of investment decisions, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. The Professional Services team is responsible for the onboarding of clients to SimCorp’s solutions and services.

The role of a Student Assistant is essential in supporting our team, the Resource Management Office, to ensure smooth and effective processes around the allocation and utilization of consultants in Professional Services. We operate with local internal and external consultants in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, supported by Global Delivery Centres in Warsaw, Manila and Mexico. Working collaboratively with PS project managers and various global teams, the Resource Management Office ensures the allocation of the right resources at the right time to meet project requirements.

What you will be responsible for

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
  • Weekly update and maintenance of Power BI linked excel files used in resourcing meetings
  • Demand – work with regional teams to ensure all demand is captured
  • Resourcing – work with local management to ensure planned allocations are aligned
  • Assure data quality in contingent worker procurement and onboarding process
  • Work with procurement team to ensure system and contract data are aligned
  • Track upcoming contract end dates and send out reminder emails
  • Maintain contingent worker master excel file, updating with changes as they arise
  • Maintain MS planner with tasks related to procuring and onboarding contingent workers
  • Monthly updates of various systems and files
  • Update of contingent worker certification status
  • Update of invoicing data for finance team
  • Data quality checks
  • Review power BI reports for accuracy and report any issues
  • Monthly and Quarterly reviews
  • Assist with data extraction and compilation from various sources (Excel, PowerBI, Workday, Zimit)

  • Proficiency in speaking and writing in English
  • Previous experience working with data, reports and professional emails
  • Previous experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of PowerBI is welcomed but not a necessity.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across departments. Service mindset.
