We are looking for a highly motivated Dairy Engineer student who would like to explore the world of cultures and enzymes for dairy and dairy alternatives products

Welcome to Dairy and Dairy Alternatives, Applied RD
You will become part the global Applied RD Dairy and Dairy Alternatives in Denmark which is anchored within a larger global organization with teams in France, USA, China, and Malaysia. Located in Hoersholm, our team has a global role and collaborates closely with Business development, Marketing, R&D, local application teams, Sales, and our customers all over the world.

The Applied RD team which is divided in sub teams with Cheese, Fresh Dairy, Dairy Alternatives, and Bioprotection provide technical support to customers around the globe, including new product development, optimization, and troubleshooting and production of dairy and dairy alternatives prototypes. Further, we develop new cultures and enzymes for the customers, together with developing competencies around equipment, milk, milk proteins, and ingredients.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
First part of the internship will be an introduction to the different application areas where you will take part in daily activities. After this, you will become part of a development project for cultures or enzymes within one of the application areas or participate or become part of a competence developing project, eg. on a dairy or dairy alternative application, on existing cultures or enzymes, or new equipment.

The following tasks are part of your role with us:

• Participate in planning activities, meetings around the defined project
• Planning, design, and conduct analysis in the lab, e.g. microbiology, pH, texture, and chemical composition
• Planning, design and production of dairy products
• Collect, and report results
• Participate in sensory analysis/tasting of dairy products
  

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a MSc Dairy Science and Technology student from Copenhagen University. This internship is for the autumn of 2025.

Moreover, we are looking for a person who can see themselves in the following descriptions:
