Then this internship might be your chance to get an inside view on our daily specialist work in our high technology production site, Danmark Protein.

Danmark Protein is the largest production site in Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) consisting of approx. 650 colleagues located in Western Jutland. We are founded on a sustainability mindset and have successfully managed to turn whey, a former waste product, into new nutritional and functional ingredients for human consumption.

How you will make an impact
You will join the Production & Technology Development (PTD) Department consisting of 27 colleagues. The internship will take place in the autumn of 2025.

You will have your own project focusing on food process production challenges or optimizations to help us produce the product in the right quality and help bring value to the business by using analytical and process data to suggest improvements and build a positive business case. There will be a high degree of freedom in forming the project yourself. To guide and coach you, you will be teamed up with an experienced colleague through the whole intern period.

As an intern in PTD, you will be part of our team from day one and be involved in our daily business. We will strive to strike a good balance between your personal wishes, formal study requirements, and our expectations and priorities. The most important thing for us is that you learn a lot and enjoy your time at AFI and find the internship a rich opportunity for professional and personal development.

What will make you successful?
You are studying within the fields of dairy, food science, production, biochemistry, chemistry, or similar. We expect that you have a passion for data driven optimisations and are a strong team player.

• You have a can-do mindset and love to see when things you have helped build come alive.
• You have an analytical mindset but also the ability to understand the broader complexity
• You possess Danish and English skills in both written and spoken. Your skills within Microsoft Office are high, and you master the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
