Join us as our new Digitalization Student Assistant in Formulation Development and Innovation
Joining us as a Student Assistant in Formulation Development and Innovation at Novonesis, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to the advancement of digital tools and technologies.

Your role will involve supporting the development of Python-based digital solutions, optimizing data flows, and spearheading innovative data utilization. If you are passionate about driving digital transformation, proficient in programming, and skilled at translating user feedback into impactful enhancements, this role offers an exciting opportunity to thrive within our diverse and dedicated team.

Welcome to Formulation Development and Innovation
You will be joining a team with people from the four departments that comprise the Formulation Development area. In Formulation Development we are responsible for the development and upscaling of new products and technologies related to enzymes and other protein products.

The team that you will be joining supports the digitalization efforts for the area. We are 10 people from different backgrounds and cultures that are fully committed to both supporting our area’s daily tasks and enabling innovative technology projects.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of digital tools based on Python that help make the work of the people in the department more efficient
• Participate in optimizing our data flows
• Help finding new innovative ways of using our data
• Developing a platform with an overview of our tools
• Gathering users feedback and translating it into improvements to our digital tools

To succeed as student assistant in Formulation Development, you will need to:

• Be enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or similar)
• Have experience programming, preferably in Python
• Have experience with process simulations is a plus
• Be an excellent communicator and able to work together with people of various backgrounds and expertise
• Be self-driven, reliable and team-oriented
• Be able to work ca. 8 hours/week, flexible during exams and vacation period
