Student Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a promising Student Marketing Assistant to join our fun, creative and ambitious marketing team. You’ll be working to support our marketing team in place branding and running marketing campaigns and activities targeted at international audiences.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Assist Copenhagen Capacity’s Marketing Team in developing marketing plans and running different types of marketing campaigns, events and activations.
- Assist the production of content (text and visual) for different marketing and communication activities, ensuring consistency with the brand guidelines and value-creating across channels and the customer journey.
- Take part in social media management – incl. creating organic posts and community management of our SoMe channels, e.g. Copenhagen Capacity, A State of Denmark, Greater Copenhagen Region
- Produce content for and set up newsletters and marketing automation emails.
- Conduct market research and audience analysis.
- Assist in interpreting data from our marketing activities and present them in reports.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team.
Your profile
You are currently studying marketing, branding, IT, communication or similar. You are a motivated, creative and structured team player. You’re eager to learn new things and ready to take ownership of your work tasks while working closely with the marketing team members.
It would be good if you have some of the skills and competencies listed below, but don’t worry if you don’t have them all. If you have the right mindset, we’re happy to teach you!
- Some experience working professionally within Marketing, Social Media or Communications (e.g. via other student job, internship or volunteer work)
- Basic experience with content production (e.g. content for social media, websites, newsletters and other online and offline marketing and PR material). Maybe you have specific skills or an interest in film production, editing, copywriting or graphic design.
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English
- Experience in using CMS or marketing automation systems.
- Skills in data interpretation, analysis and visualisation/reporting.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Good to have, but not necessary:
- Excellent oral and writing skills in Danish.
Our offices are in the city centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. You’ll work here part-time: 15-20 hours per week. We’ll agree on a work schedule that fits with your studies.
You’ll join Copenhagen Capacity’s tight-knit, passionate and caring marketing team with seven lovely colleagues and work in a multinational organisation and work culture where the “office language” is English. We prioritise lunching in the company canteen together as a team and with good colleagues from other departments and enjoy social activities such as team dinners, Friday bars, Christmas/summer parties, etc.
