We are currently searching for a skilled and dedicated Front-end Intern to join our awesome Product & Engineering team at Umbraco HQ in Odense by August 2025.
The Product & Engineering Team
The P&E Team is our biggest team in Umbraco, consisting of +50 skilled and friendly developers, testers, and product owners—all dedicated and passionate about developing our CMS codebase and Cloud offering for Umbraco users around the world.
The role
In this role, you will help design, build, and test front-end features, fix issues, and liaise with colleagues and our open-source community. You’ll be working primarily with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Native Web Components to enhance the user experience of Umbraco’s CMS.
As an intern at Umbraco, you will join an existing, working team, giving you real and relevant experience. If your internship is successful, there’s even a good chance of continuing with us afterward. Since we have a lot going on, you may also have the opportunity to explore other teams within the company.
Your qualifications
The most important qualification is your personality: Who you are, your values and attitudes, and your eagerness to learn. We are looking for an engaging and positive team player with a take-charge attitude and commitment to getting things done.
You can expect to work with and learn about the following technologies, patterns, and buzzwords:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript & Native Web Components
- Modern front-end frameworks and UI/UX principles
- Responsive design and accessibility best practices
- Source control workflows, continuous delivery, and automated testing
- API integrations with front-end applications
Practicalities
Place of work: On-site at Umbraco HQ
Address: Buchwaldsgade 35, 2nd floor, 5000 Odense, Denmark
Internship period: 3 months full-time (37 hours/week)
