The Mechanical Engineering track is designed to nurture your talents and provide you with a deep understanding of Mechanical Engineering. Through two strategic rotations at our office in Struer, Denmark, you will gain firsthand experience in diverse business areas, giving you a holistic view of Bang & Olufsen’s operations. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with a well-rounded skill set and the knowledge to contribute to our continued growth.

What You Will Do
As a graduate in the Mechanical Engineering track, you will experience two key rotations, each focusing on a different aspect of your track. Here’s a glimpse of what your rotations might involve:

Rotation 1: Mechanical Engineering
As a graduate in the Mechanical Engineering department at Bang & Olufsen, you will step into an innovative and immersive environment where ideas become reality. From concept & architectural development to final production, you will work alongside designers, hardware specialists, and acoustics experts, contributing to the future of our iconic products. You will explore cutting-edge materials, rapid prototyping, and advanced 3D CAD modeling, ensuring every detail is engineered to perfection. Collaborating with suppliers and external partners, you will transform compelling ideas into high-quality, precision-crafted solutions. Rotation 2: Advanced Manufacturing
At Bang & Olufsen's Factory 5, our Mechanical Engineering team specializes in the meticulous crafting of aluminium components that define our products' iconic aesthetics and durability. From initial concept to final production, we employ advanced manufacturing techniques, including precision machining and anodizing, to produce finishes accurate to within thousandths of an inch. Collaborating closely with designers and material specialists, we transform raw aluminium into elegant, high-quality elements through processes like brushing, polishing, and electrochemical surface treatment. Our focus on quality ensures that each part meets strict specifications and adds to the timeless allure of Bang & Olufsen’s design tradition.

Program Characteristics
During your rotations, you will experience:

What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for candidates who:

• Have obtained a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field in 2024, or will graduate in the summer of 2025.
• Are passionate about Engineering.
• Have maximum 1 year work experience (besides internships, part-time roles, or project-work).
• Are curious, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Are fluent in English.
