LAD is an ambitious team of 24 highly skilled colleagues who know the importance of high-quality work as well as high-quality fellowship. Our team is focused on method development, validation, and implementation of methods for testing new biological products for Food, Agriculture and Human Health in Quality Control Laboratories.

We are part of Global Assay Innovation & Automation GAIA with more than 100 amazing colleagues worldwide working to develop, optimize, align and automate QC methods to bring new Novonesis products in production and advance our product quality control with higher throughput.

In this role you’ll make an impact by...
Being responsible for verifying and optimizing traditional microbial plating methods for probiotics and infant products. You will work closely with other scientists and laboratory technicians to plan and implement efficient microbiological methods to our QC laboratories located in Denmark and the US.

Your key role will be reviewing and reporting verification studies, that ensures current CFU and contaminant plate methods works sufficiently on new products. The department is performing more that 200 of these studies a year.

In the daily work you will:

• Review and document verification studies
• Plan and coordinate experiments
• Prepare protocols, SOP’s, reports
• Carry out tasks related to equipment responsibility and equipment requalification
• Interact with stakeholders in Application, Quality Assurance and QC to ensure a good fit between customer needs, requirements and daily workflow in QC

To succeed you must:
Hold an MSc degree within Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related scientific field and you can be newly educated as we will train you in the tasks. You will join a dedicated team who values collaboration and a great deal of fun in the daily work. We work closely together and what we deliver is critical for our customers. Therefore, being a team player with good collaboration skills is crucial, along with having a proactive and self-driven attitude.
