Join us as our new Commercial Sustainability Student Analyst
As a Student Analyst in Novonesis’ Commercial sustainability team, you will be situated between our commercial teams while belonging to the Global sustainability team. The Commercial Sustainability team seeks to understand what sustainability means to our customers across all 30 industries we operate in, including agriculture, food processing, brewing, precision fermented protein, laundry detergents, textiles, biofuels, and human health. We work closely with colleagues across all business areas to articulate the sustainability benefits of our biosolutions and find impactful ways to engage customers.
You will be working in a diverse and inclusive, global team of sustainability professionals.
In the job, you will support the commercial sustainability team in a variety of tasks which could involve market, industry, and product analysis to be used for trend spotting and for building convincing data-based presentation. A key part of the job will also be to read, digest and work with sustainability reports to understand how the industry/our customers are working with sustainability and how it/they aim to reach their goals.
You will be exposed to various kinds of quantitative and qualitative analysis, ranging from sales analysis, LCA studies, market development and consumer behavior. Therefore, this role enables you to develop your analytical and creative skills while gaining knowledge on how sustainability can drive commercial growth. In the job you will be expected to drive processes independently as well as supporting colleagues on different projects. This also gives the opportunity to take ownership of some projects as well as presenting your work to stakeholders within the organization.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting the development of sustainability value propositions for our biosolutions (with special focus on Food & Beverages business)
- Finding industry sustainability insights that are used for driving growth with our customers
- Supporting the development of material and assets to engage the commercial organization at Novonesis
To succeed you:
- Are preferably enrolled on a bachelor's degree within the field of business, marketing, economics (or similar) – with a strong interest in the subject of sustainability as a grow enabler
- Are high-performing and ambitious individual thriving with challenges
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Are a quick and proactive learner with good communicational skills including full professional proficiency in written and verbal English
- Are great team player who also wishes to take responsibility and work independently
- Have excellent skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
