Internship Gamification of Onboarding in Novo Nordisk Engineering (Denmark - Virum)

NNE A/S

Internship Gamification of Onboarding in Novo Nordisk Engineering
Do you see the value in gamification of standard processes? Do you have ideas on how new things can be learned by using new methods? Do you want to help us develop a more interactive way to get a great start in a new project? If you do, and if you like getting things done, you will be a great addition to our gamification team!

What do we do at NNE?
We are experts in end-to-end pharma engineering, and we design and build pharma facilities that are essential for millions of patients all over the world. Our success is built on our relationships, both with our colleagues and our customers. If you are passionate about working for a noble cause on projects shaping the future of sustainable and intelligent pharma facilities, NNE is the place to be.

About the role
We are looking for a full-time intern to join our gamification team in the Portfolio & Project Management department. Kindly note that this internship is available only if it's an official part of your study program, thus, we will not consider applications from candidates who have already received their degree.

Our Onboarding and Gamification team is working on several games that are available in a 3D VR simulator, as well as on laptops for NNE's employees. The games are used for specific project training and when we onboard new colleagues.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills within onboarding and learning. You will not be programming, but you will be closely involved with the content of the Onboarding Games.

Your role will be to support both specific project trainings and improving project onboarding. For instance, you will support day-to-day activities, help define user cases, help implement the various storylines into the game, measuring the end user's perception, and collect and implement our Lessons Learned to improve the existing games.

How you might spend your days
As an intern, you’ll:

  • Collaborate closely with the Gamification Team to brainstorm and develop engaging content for onboarding games
  • Identify and outline various scenarios and user needs to ensure the games are relevant and effective
  • Help integrate different storylines into the games, making them more interactive and immersive
  • Collect feedback from end users to understand their experience and satisfaction with the games. Use the feedback and lessons learned to continuously enhance the existing games
  • Assist with various tasks and projects within the Portfolio & Project Management department
  • Develop valuable skills in onboarding and gamification in a vibrant and supportive work environment

Who you are

We care about who you are as a person. In the end, how you work, and your energy, is what impacts the results we achieve as a team. As a person, you are:

  • Open-minded
  • Confident and professional in reaching out to stakeholders throughout the whole organization
  • Naturally curious, and eager to learn
  • Proactive, you will be asking all the questions you need to ask so you can get on with your work
  • Interested in Project Management
  • Excited about gamification, onboarding, and learning

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

  • You are in the later phase of a relevant degree, such as Engineering, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Digital Design and Interactive Technology, or Innovation and Digital Design
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English, as materials need to be presented for funding and professionality is required
  • You are proficient in Microsoft 365
  • You will not be programming, but working on content

We value mindset above experience, so if you’re not studying an obviously relevant education, fear not! We still want your application as long as you can account for, how you can contribute with something valuable to the position in our team.

Kindly note that this internship is available only if it's an official part of your study program, thus, we will not consider applications from candidates who have received their degree.
