Are you passionate about policy and public affairs and would like to join a dynamic team working to support a broad corporate agenda? Can you contribute with project management skills and great stakeholder management capacities to enhance the LEGO Group’s advocacy objectives?
The LEGO Group Government and Public Affairs function is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Policy & Global Engagement team as student worker. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience in corporate advocacy strategies whilst supporting our public affairs engagement and government relations activities globally.
Core Responsibilities
- Support our Policy and Global Engagement colleagues through project management of key advocacy efforts on our sustainability agenda.
- Help manage and develop corporate policy networks, including by creating meeting agendas, developing supporting materials, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and proactively identifying next steps.
- Offer wider team support across our other priority areas as relevant, including digital policy, value chain policy and around the newly recognized UN International Day of Play.
- Assist with event planning (virtual and physical), execution and post-event wrap up.

In this position, you will play an important role in helping to drive our public affairs engagement and agenda across a diverse range of issues globally, focusing notably on sustainability issues.

We do this through strategic engagement with governments and related stakeholders, expanding market opportunities, protecting our business from political and legislative risk, and enhancing our reputation. Do you have what it takes?
- It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.
- You are inspired, thoughtful, independent and self-motivated student worker with strong digital competencies and great communication skills, and an interest in public policy, corporate social responsibility, and government affairs.
- You show initiative and enjoy problem-solving and delivering results, and you have high integrity and work ethic.
- You have a background or strong interest in public policy, international affairs, communication or similar.
- Experience of project management and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Can work approx. 2 days a week (15-20 hours per week).
- Strong graphic skills and visual eye; especially excellent handling of PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI an advantage.
