Student Assistant, Business Projects to Global Facility - Aarhus

Would you like to support Arla Global Facility and join as our new student assistant 12-15 hours per week? We are looking for a curious and talented colleague who likes to capture and work with cross business functions, budget forecast, analyze data, streamline processes, and in this way ensure that we have the best foundation to create extraordinary workplaces.

You will join a team of 10 people in Arla Global Facility and here you will get to work with our architects, change consultants, finance business partners, maintenance people as well as a wide range of stakeholders from the entire business on many levels.

How will you make an impact?
You will cover many different tasks in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and SQLite together with the team and work closely with our Director and colleagues on among others

• Develop and update our Real Estate/Property portfolio management system using Excel and Power BI, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for strategic decision-making. This includes close collaboration with Colliers for global real estate data as well as maintaining headcount data for monthly attendance calculations and comparing expenses to establish internal benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with the department's Finance Business Partner and other departments, especially IT, to structure and coordinate our project pipeline. This involves ensuring the upkeep of various SharePoint sites and handling ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Support the director by providing detailed reports and data analysis, creating diverse presentations such as quarterly reviews in PowerPoint, and effectively communicating insights both verbally and in writing.
• Develop team processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This includes an interest in data analysis and the ability to communicate these findings clearly.

How will you become a success?
Most likely you have been studying at the university for a couple of years - preferably starting your last year on your BA or just about to start on your MA. Ideally you have a background in business administration, IT or project management. You are definitely a “business development/numbers person” who like to work with projects and people, and we hope that you are also quite planful, structured and focused on finalizing with high quality standards.

Ideally you have

• Some proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability and interest in learning new software programs.
• Understanding of project stages and the ability to contribute throughout the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge in Finance, budget and forecasting
• Comfort in communicating and presenting in English.

We value practical experience in data handling, project management, finance knowledge, business understanding and stakeholder engagement, however most important is your curiosity to learn and interest to dive into things.
