The Job
We are in the process of developing a new design system and already have the first components in place in our Storybook. Now we are looking for a student who can help with this work.
You will be building React components based on designs from our UX designer in Figma and adding them to our Storybook, where we document and test the design system.
You will work closely with our UX designer and be given a lot of freedom in your work — but you are also expected to take responsibility for what you do. We emphasize quality, accessibility, and good craftsmanship.
Working hours are 10-15 hours / 2 days per week, with flexibility around exam periods and holidays. We expect that you mainly work from our office in Aarhus, but there is the possibility of working remote when needed.
Internship at Qarma
We would like to offer you the opportunity to take your internship with us — either in autumn 2026 or at another time if your study program allows it. This gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the work and become an even bigger part of the team.
You will be working with
- React and TypeScript
- Storybook
- Figma
- HTML and CSS (we use Tailwind)
We expect that you
- Are a student in the Professional Bachelor’s program in Web Development (or a Computer Science/Multimedia Design student moving toward the PBA)
- Are comfortable with at least one programming language
- Have good English skills
- Are open to learning and sharing your knowledge
- Have an eye for detail and quality
- Knowledge of React, Figma, or Storybook is an advantage, but not a requirement.
