A Glimpse into the Role
Kick-start your tech career at DESMI as our newest Automation Intern! As an intern at DESMI, you’ll have hands-on experience with the products, able to do tests with the pumps and Ballast Water System at our test facility. You’ll work alongside a small supportive and collaborative team across different educational backgrounds. Join our team at our Headquarter in Nørresundby, Denmark. You’ll gain an insight into what customers value in terms of data collection from their devices and how they would like to see it presented in a dashboard. Your main responsibilities include:

Setup new Data collection modules

• Help us set up and define our Data collection protocols and setup
• It is an IoT solution so you can expect lots of data coming in from these devices, they’ll need to be programmed so only essential data gets through.

Azure programming and administering

• Build and expand on the database (SQL / NoSQL)
• Build more functions and features in our cloud
• Adding devices and new structures to accommodate new device types

Graphical User interface

• Use our Graphical user interface tool to create new and exciting dashboards for our development and customers
• Program HTML, CSS and JavaScript in our frontend
• Program JavaScript and Python in our backend

Backend:

• Build a robust and dynamic backend to handle multiple types of devices and a growing platform.
• Train your programming skills with JavaScript and Python coding in our backend

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, but you will gain valuable hands-on experience in programming, testing, and development while working closely with a dedicated team at DESMI in Nørresundby, Denmark.
