Job Description
Do you want to take part in the LEGO Group Human Rights and ESG Compliance work? And help ensure that the LEGO Group delivers on sustainability reporting and transparency requirements?
Come join our Human Rights & ESG Compliance team and play your part in implementing human rights due diligence across our value chain and deliver solid processes for sustainability compliance and reporting.
Core Responsibilities
As student worker in the Human Rights & ESG Compliance team, you will:
- Support the facilitation and documentation of the LEGO Group Double Materiality Assessment
- Support the ongoing management of incoming customer and partner information requests on sustainability and support the establishment of efficient data management and validation flows
- Support various human rights due diligence initiatives such as risk and impact assessments and benchmarking.
- Support on human rights and sustainability reporting tasks such as modern slavery reporting
- Manage systems and tools to support the team objectives and foster improvements in productivity and collaboration
- Help collect, analyse and interpret external developments, trends, key insights, new regulation and peer best practice
- Support with presentations and internal reporting

Sustainability is a globally based team leading the strategic planning and target setting, providing thought leadership and strong program management enabling our high sustainability ambitions and drive impact both inside and outside the LEGO Group through a commercial logic. The team is led by our Chief Sustainability Officer reporting directly into the CEO. This role is anchored in the Human Rights & ESG Compliance team.
Do you have what it takes?
- It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.
- Bachelor’s degree (ideally 2-3 years left of your studies) in Social Science, Business Administration, Economics or something similar will be preferred.
- You have solid experience with the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Structured approach with good analytical and data management skills. Experience with digital systems and Power BI an advantage.
- Excellent in English, both oral and written.
- You have a proactive approach to tasks and can work both independently and with stakeholders across different teams
- You are curious with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- You are motivated to work in a global environment and collaborate across cultures and nationalities.
- You are creative in your thinking and a team player.
Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and human rights topics as well as sustainability reporting and compliance is a plus.
