Core Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst Student worker in the Operational Technology (OT) Department you will play an important role in translating data from our LEGO production into usable information for our factories and decision makers.
You will be a member of a team, where your contribution will be to:
- Utilize analytics tools such as Power BI and Grafana to create compelling visualizations of OT data.
- Develop scripts (e.g. Python) to automate data workflows and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional departments to improve data quality and expand reporting functions.
- Support the team with data analysis and derive recommendations for measures.

You will be part of the Operational Technology Project organization where we are responsible for:
- Overseeing the planning and execution of technology projects across LEGO Manufacturing
- Leading transformation & change initiatives across and beyond the OT department
- Data Analytics & reporting for OT
As a Data Analyst Student Worker, you'll play an active role in enhancing and innovating our reporting and data analytics capabilities, helping turn insights into informed decision-making. Do you have what it takes?
You are in your final year of your bachelor's degree or a master's student.
You will have colleagues around you who can help you to understand the data – your task will be to create scripts, connectors to API’s or other ways of collecting the right data and to visualize it, such it is easily understandable by users. To transform something complex into something simple and understandable.
It requires you to have a good understanding of how to do data analytics and have an idea about how to transform data into actionable reporting.
Furthermore, you are:
- Currently studying minimum at B.Sc. degree level in a relevant field within industrial engineering, data engineering, IT.
- Experience in Power BI reporting including building interactive dashboards, data models, and integrating multiple data sources.
- Have some knowledge in Python, JSON, scripting and using API’s for data cleaning, transformation and analytical workflows.
- Have some experience working with SQL and MS Tools like Power Automate, PowerApps, MS Office etc.
- Equipped with a proactive attitude and a team player mentality, you are not afraid to ask questions and challenge us.
- You are ambitious and aim to learn and grow in your job as much as possible – both professionally and personally.
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
- Able to start in March and at least have one year left of your education.
- Able to work 15 hours a week and be present in our office in Billund.
