In Legal and Tax, you will join a team of 9 talented and welcoming colleagues.
The tax team at Maersk Tankers is part of the larger Legal & Tax team, where you will join a team of nine talented and welcoming colleagues, working with legal and tax compliance across Maersk Tankers.
Here you will be supporting the business in all day-to-day tax work across our global business. This entails e.g. keeping up with recurring compliance tasks, production and legalization of documents, monitoring and reviewing new legislative and regulatory initiatives, assisting with audits, inquiries and litigations and working with external advisors to manage our global fiscal footprint.

Expected working time: approx.. 10-15 hours per week (with some flexibility).

At Maersk Tankers, you can come as you are and be among people who will expand your horizon. As our new Student Assistant - Legal & Tax, we do, however, expect that you can contribute with the following:
- You are on the master’s leg of your cand.jur or cand.merc.jur, or an equivalent business law-centered education, and have a foundational understanding of tax and corporate law
- Basic familiarity with accounting and finance
- Previous experience with KYC, vendor and counterparty screening is a plus
- An open-minded and global outlook toward business, people, and cultures
- Curiosity, willingness to learn and a proactive approach
- Fluency in written and spoken English
