An exciting role as our Student Assistant in the Business Process Management team in Products & Innovation, where you will take part in building a coherent, well-governed, and continuously improving process landscape.
This role offers an opportunity to gain insights into Business Process Management in Products & Innovation and collaborate with stakeholders across the VELUX organisation. This will provide you with great opportunities to challenge yourself, learn how to navigate in a large, international organisation and develop your skills as well as building a great professional network.
The position will be a part-time role with approx. 15-20 hours weekly, and we offer a flexible workplan that can be adapted to fit your study programme, including the opportunity to work from home when the schedule allows.
You will be working out of our beautiful offices at LKR Innovation House in Østbirk.
Key responsibilities
You will support the team with a variety of tasks, from project-related work on specific processes (e.g., Product Development Process), to managing process systems, preparing communication and decision material, to supporting continuous operation of existing processes.
Your primary tasks include:
- Support managing the P&I process landscape in the relevant systems
- Support project teams working on initiatives to build and improve processes
- Manage updates to process documentation in process portal and Sharepoint
- Create communication and decision material
- Support performance monitoring by updating KPIs and dashboard
Who are we looking for
A motivated student who is keen to develop their skills and contribute effectively as well as having a high degree of ownership .
Ideally you have 2+ years left of your education i.e. are in the second or third year of your bachelor’s degree or the very beginning a master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering or business process.
You thrive in a complex and changing environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.
Furthermore, you:
- Have great analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Be organised and capable of effectively managing your own tasks.
- Be proactive, service-minded and focused on solutions and opportunities
- Be IT proficient and enjoy working with data, and a fast learner when it comes to new systems.
- Have advanced communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
