About the role
We are seeking a student to support our digitalization journey, within the engineering discipline department working on process and utility engineering. You will work close together with a fellow student, supported by Senior Specialists.

You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues in our Process Systems Intelligence (PSI) area, and the Technology & Trends department. As a team, we play a pivotal role in the design of some of Denmark’s most state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities, focusing on data driven simulation of processes to evaluate pharma facility design impact.

Your role will be important in supporting this, working with existing live systems in implementation of a Proof of Concept with a digital twin approach, and thereby helping us maintaining our commitment to excellence and innovation.

How you might spend your days
As a student within the Process and utilities engineering, you will be:

• Collaborating with colleagues and senior specialists to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive data analytics and visualizations
• Use advanced analytical methods & tools for process modelling & simulation to structure, analyze, interpret and provide actionable insights from datasets
• Participating in the development and extension of dashboards, and analytical reports
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data visualization and actionable insights
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and data visualization and actionable insights

What you bring to the role

• Within the first year of your Master of Science at a Danish University
• Study area, Chemical engineering, Process engineering
• Focus expertise areas, flowsheet modelling, unit-operation model development, applied process simulation, data-driven modelling
• Experience in software such as, PROII, ASPEN Tech, DWSIM, INOSIM, MATLAB etc.
• Interested in translating theory into application
