Department: Data Platforms & Integrations
Duration and expectations: Full time position as internship 3-6 months. The internship is expected to start around June (flexible)

Are you passionate about data engineering and AI? Join our Data Foundation team and help shape the backbone of data and analytics at Novo Nordisk. This is your chance to work on building, deploying and monitoring AI infrastructure in production, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-grade systems.

Your New Role
As a Data & AI Intern, you will contribute to building and enhancing backend systems and platform capabilities that enable intelligent automation. Your tasks may include:

• Implementing automation within our platform
• Improving infrastructure deployment processes
• Developing tools to optimise platform usage
• Contributing to MLOps and LLMOps workflows
• Working with production systems using Databricks and Spark

You will collaborate closely with platform engineering and data product teams, gaining insight into how infrastructure supports real-world applications.

Your New Department
You will join the Data Platforms & Integrationsteam, which provides the core data and analytics platform used across Novo Nordisk’s development organisation. Our mission is to enable advanced AI capabilities on top of robust data products, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation.

Your Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Ideally, you have:

• Interest or experience with Python, SQL, Spark, and data engineering
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, or automation
• A desire to write production-ready code and learn from experienced engineers
• A mindset focused on security, quality, and reliability
