For our design & project engineering team, we are searching for a master’s student with specialty in industrial design, mechanical engineering or similar, to join us for an internship in the fall of 2026.

What will you be a part of?
Mekoprint is a family-owned production company organised into four divisions. You will be a part of the Graphic Electronics division in Støvring. Here, we are more than 100 colleagues, and together we develop and manufacture customised components for leading electronic and industrial companies worldwide.

You will be a part of our Design and Project Engineering team, consisting of industrial designers from AAU, graphic designers and design engineers. The team works with design and engineering of HMI solutions, such as keypads, control panels and graphic overlays.

You can expect
This internship will be a unique chance to work with electronic product design and industrial design of HMI solutions for professional equipment, membrane switch keypads and silicone keypads. You can look forward to assisting design & project engineering and in the design of:

• Industrial membrane and silicone keypads
• 3D renderings, visualizations and design concepts
• HMI prototypes in our prototype lab

Also, we will expect you to:

• Participate in ideation workshops.
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Communicate with our Asian manufacturing partners.

Who are you?
You’re studying for a master’s degree specialising in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or similar.

Maybe you are experienced in iPad sketching and 3D printing. It would be an advantage if you are familiar with software such as: Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator and KeyShot.

As a person, you are curious and eager to learn. You are a team player and have an open and positive mindset. You are good at using new knowledge and experience in your daily work. We will do our very best to make this internship as rewarding as possible - but we need you to take responsibility for your own learning.

We offer a small stipend along with free breakfast and lunch during your internship.
