About the role
Dalgas is looking for a proactive and commercially aware forester to manage and develop forest assets in Lithuania. At Dalgas, you will be part of a company with a strong legacy in sustainable forestry, where you can make a real impact on both business performance and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of forest management activities
• Manage forest operations including maintenance, harvesting and timber sales
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and client requirements
• Coordinate forest inventory and contribute to forest management planning
• Maintain and optimise forest data and GIS systems
• Drive afforestation and land-related projects (e.g. cadastral work, land leasing, land improvements)
• Manage contractors, authorities and other external stakeholders

Success in the role:
• Deliver agreed budgets and operational KPIs
• Ensure timely and high-quality execution of forestry operations
• Maintain full compliance with legislation and sustainability standards
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Your profile:
You have a solid forestry background and a structured, collaborative way of working. You take ownership, work independently, and communicate effectively across stakeholders.

You bring:
• A bachelor’s degree in forestry or a related field
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English
• A valid driving licence
• Experience with GIS and forest management systems
• Solid understanding of forest management, inventory methods and legislation
• Strong communication skills and a structured, independent working style

Stakeholders and collaboration:
You will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Lithuania and the wider Dalgas international forestry division, as well as maintain close dialogue with clients, authorities and contractors.
