Student helper in Packaging Lab

AAU Energy is looking for a student helper for programming our robot arm in packaging lab.
The robot arm is needed in our production facilities to do “pick and place” tasks as well as “solder pasting” with minimal input from staff. This task is advanced and requires the following existing competencies:

• Former experience with robot arm technology such as Universal Robots
• Former experience with PLC systems
• Strong experience with the programming language Python
• Former experience with “smart camera” software

The work consists of the following tasks:

• Integrate dispensing system into the robot arm
• Finalize existing program for “pick and place” task
• Finalize existing program for “pasting” task

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Student Instructors at Universities etc. (Official title: Overenskomst for studenterundervisere ved universiteter mv.). Employment is conditional upon being a student.
