Help create new business opportunities in an international engineering consultancy
Looking for a student job where you can develop your commercial skills and gain valuable business experience? Join our Mechanical Solutions & Services team and help create new customer dialogues and business opportunities while working closely with experienced engineers and business leaders.
At DIS/CREADIS, we are looking for a Student Assistant to support our lead generation, outreach, and business development activities from our headquarters in Stilling, close to Skanderborg. With many colleagues commuting from both Aarhus and Horsens, there are good opportunities for carpooling and flexible ways of getting to and from the office.
About DIS/CREADIS
DIS/CREADIS is an international engineering consultancy driven by innovation, professionalism, and strong collaboration. With approximately 600 employees across Denmark and abroad, we support leading companies with advanced technical solutions.
As part of our Mechanical Solutions & Services business unit, you will gain insight into how technical consulting businesses create and develop customer relationships while working alongside experienced colleagues.
About the Role
As our new Student Assistant, your primary focus will be lead generation, outbound outreach, and creating new business opportunities. You will proactively engage with potential new clients, open doors to new business opportunities, and help establish the first dialogue with companies that are not yet familiar with DIS/CREADIS.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying relevant companies and decision makers
- Reaching out to potential customers by phone
- Creating interest and establishing an initial dialogue
- Booking meetings for our Business Leaders
- Maintaining and updating lead information
- Supporting ongoing business development activities
The role focuses on proactively creating opportunities, initiating new customer dialogues, and booking meetings for our Business Leaders. A significant part of the role involves reaching out to companies that do not yet have a relationship with DIS/CREADIS, making curiosity, persistence, and confidence in initiating conversations important qualities for success.
Customer meetings, proposal work, and sales activities will be handled by our Business Leaders.
The expected workload is approximately 4–6 hours per week.
Your Profile
We imagine that you:
- Enjoy talking to new people, building relationships, and creating new opportunities
- Are energized by engaging with new clients and opening doors to new business opportunities
- Thrive on reaching out to new companies and initiating conversations with people who may not know DIS/CREADIS yet
- Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Are proactive, persistent, and commercially minded
- Work independently and take ownership of your tasks
- Have a basic technical understanding or curiosity that helps you engage with engineering and production companies
Experience from sales, customer service, telemarketing, fundraising, canvassing, or similar activities is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Why Join DIS/CREADIS?
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with lead generation, outreach, and business development in an international engineering consultancy.
You will work closely with experienced colleagues, strengthen your commercial and communication skills, and gain valuable insight into how new customer dialogues and business opportunities are created and developed.
We offer:
- Valuable hands-on experience within lead generation, outreach, and business development
- Close collaboration with experienced business leaders and engineers
- The opportunity to build commercial experience alongside your studies
- Flexible working conditions that support a healthy balance between work and university commitments
- The possibility to work from home when tasks allow
- A workplace at our headquarters in Stilling, conveniently located near Skanderborg
