We have developed a revolutionary market intelligence platform that provides key benchmarks for the design, installation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms. Our analyses are based on an innovative methodology of analysing vessel positions for market intelligence. We work with some of the world’s leading offshore wind developers, turbine OEMs and consultancies.
Help Us Create Unique Market Intelligence for Offshore Wind
Based in our Copenhagen office, you will support developing data-driven solutions by analysing offshore wind activity and combining our unique offshore wind data installation data and any publicly available data about the market development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Storage, Integration and Management: Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines on Azure, while ensuring data integrity and spatial accuracy. Handle interfaces between our cloud-based PostgreSQL databases and Power BI and React-based front ends.
- Predictive Analysis: Leverage ML-based solutions to develop new modules for our market intelligence platform, including computer vision and forecasting models.
- Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Power BI and QGIS to analyze geospatial data and extract valuable insights.
- Ad-hoc tasks: provide support for ad-hoc tasks such as developing custom reports.
- Support the IT development of Sea Impact and have the chance to shape and form it.

Solution-Driven Data Scientist with a Strong Drive

- You are currently studying towards a bachelor’s degree or have recently started a master’s program within Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- You are proficient in Python and SQL
- Have some experience with databases or in developing ML-based solutions
- Have previously worked with some of these tools: QGIS, PostgreSQL, Claude Code, Codex, Microsoft Azure, Power BI
- You are excited about being part of establishing a new organisation and creating industry-leading market intelligence for offshore wind
- Have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will enjoy “building something bigger together”
Furthermore, you must have strong communication skills and function well in a collaborative environment. You are structured, proactive, and you are ready to learn and take on new challenges. As Sea Impact is a global company, you must have strong English communication skills.
