Student Worker in Costumer Diagnostic Center
BEUMER Group A/S
Would you like to hep transform data into value, using a modern technology stack? And would you like to work for a worldwide leader within sortation systems for bagage handling and parcels?
We are looking for a student to help build and maintain a data platform used across our service organisation.
Become part of our Customer Diagnostics Center
At BEUMER Group, we offer innovative solutions in material handling worldwide. We serve airports and package delivery companies with sorting and distribution solutions, ensuring that luggage and packages reach their rightful owners – time and time again.
Our Customer Diagnostics Center are monitoring all our live installations, helping our customers to keep operation going as efficient as possible. However, a raw signal from a site only means something when you know the context behind it - which machine, which configuration, which contract, which site. Your work builds and maintains exactly that context.
What you'd work on
- A Python service that collects data from many different internal source systems and loads it into a database
- A data transformation layer (using dbt) that turns raw data into clean, modelled tables
- A Power BI presentation layer that turns that data into reports and dashboards
Tech you'll get to play with
We use a variety of technology, and you get to play with all of them - we don't expect you to know all of them, we will teach you what you need to learn:
- Python
- dbt
- The terminal/command line
- Power BI
- Git
- Kubernetes
- MCP servers
Who we're looking for
You re studying either Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or similar, about to finish your bachelor or have just started your masters. Besides that, we are looking for someone who are:
- Open and easy to talk to
- Enjoying working with people and asking questions
- Curious, and happy to learn as you go
- Tidy and structured, and you care about getting things right
The right personality is key for us and we are extremely interested in teaching you what you need to, in order for you to grow - both personally and professionally.
