Do you know the difference between an event that generates pipeline and one that just fills a room?
Talentech is a Nordic HR tech group in transformation. We've grown through merger, our product portfolio has expanded significantly, and our markets span the Nordics and Benelux. Events and webinars are not a nice-to-have for us — they're one of our primary channels for building market presence, educating buyers, deepening customer relationships, and driving cross-sell across our solutions.
We're looking for an interim Event & Webinar Marketing Manager for one year, covering a maternity leave. You'll take over a function mid-stride and be expected to own it fully from week one.
The role involves travel to events, conferences, and trade fairs across our markets.
What you'll own
Physical events
You'll manage Talentech's full B2B event calendar — trade fairs, industry conferences, partner events, and our own hosted events. That means choosing which events to attend and why, briefing booth concepts and experience design, coordinating speakers and materials, managing logistics and vendors, and ensuring every event has a clear commercial rationale before we commit budget to it. You'll set the standard for pre-event preparation (targeting, outreach, scheduling), on-site execution, and post-event follow-up in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success.
Webinar programme
You'll build and run a structured webinar programme across three tracks:
- Demand generation webinars — topic-led, SEO-informed, designed to attract and convert new prospects into the funnel. You know how to pick themes that pull in the right ICP, not just the highest registration numbers.
- Customer webinars — focused on feature adoption, product updates, and value realisation. You understand that a webinar for an existing customer is a retention and expansion play, and you design for that outcome.
- Cross-sell webinars — introducing current customers to adjacent Talentech products. You'll work closely with Product and CS to identify the right moments, audiences, and narratives for these.
You'll handle the full production cycle: topic selection and editorial calendar, speaker coordination, promotional campaigns, platform management (we use ON24 / similar), live facilitation, and post-webinar nurture sequences that actually get opened.
Across both channels, you'll:
- Build a consistent measurement framework — registrations and attendance are inputs, not outcomes. Pipeline influenced, customer engagement scores, and expansion opportunities are what you report on.
- Manage budgets with discipline and make clear-eyed calls on where we get the best return
- Develop content and messaging in close collaboration with the broader marketing team, not in isolation
- Build scalable templates, playbooks, and processes so event execution doesn't live only in your head
- Coordinate agencies, AV vendors, platform partners, and event organisers
Who you are
You've run B2B event programmes before — not just contributed to them. You have a point of view on what makes a webinar worth attending, what pre-event outreach actually works, and how to brief a booth that doesn't look like everyone else's.
You're commercially grounded. You think about events in terms of what they're supposed to do for pipeline, retention, and revenue — and you build the reporting to prove it. You can push back on a request to sponsor a conference if the audience is wrong, and you can make the case for a well-designed hosted event when the business case is there.
You're a strong project manager and a clear communicator. In an interim role with a one-year window, you can't afford to spend three months figuring out how things work. You assess fast, prioritise hard, and get moving.
Experience in SaaS or HR tech is a real advantage — you'll hit the ground faster. Fluency in English is required. Swedish or another Nordic language is a bonus.
This is a 1-year interim position starting as soon as possible. We're looking for someone who can step in and take full ownership — not someone who needs the role built around them.
