YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
As our Payroll Student Assistant, you will become an important part of our People team, supporting the monthly payroll processes across our global organisation. Working closely with our Global Payroll Manager, you will help ensure payroll is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time while gaining valuable experience with global HR and payroll operations.
You will work in our payroll and HRIS platform, Deel, supporting administrative tasks, maintaining employee data, and assisting with payroll submissions across multiple countries. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers and systems, and wants to build practical HR and payroll experience alongside their studies.
This is a part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around your studies.
Responsibilities ahead of you:
Payroll Administration
- Support the monthly payroll process across multiple countries
- Prepare and validate payroll data before monthly payroll submissions
- Assist with payroll documentation and employee records
- Support payroll reporting and follow-up on payroll-related tasks
- Help ensure employee information is accurate and up to date
HR Systems & Administration
- Maintain employee data in our HRIS and payroll platform (Deel)
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding administration related to payroll
- Assist with employment documentation and payroll-related employee changes
- Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and internal stakeholders
Process Improvement
- Support the team in improving payroll processes and administrative workflows
- Help identify opportunities to simplify manual tasks and improve efficiency using our systems
- Participate in payroll and HR operational projects when relevant
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Ideally, at least one year remaining of your studies
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers, data, and administrative tasks
- Tech-savvy and interested in learning new HR and payroll systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working across different digital platforms
- Strong communication skills in English (Danish is an advantage)
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment
