Student Assistant in Global Corporates and Global Subsidiaries
Danske Bank
Are you curious about international business, banking, and how companies operate across borders? We are looking for a student assistant who is keen to learn, curious by nature and motivated to support our team in servicing international customers at Danske Bank.
Serving international customers is a key focus, as outlined in our commercial strategy, Forward 28. The team that you will be joining, is anchored within Danske Bank’s overall hub for international customers and solutions: Nordic Global Corporates & Subsidiaries. Our team delivers financial solutions for Nordic corporate clients with either international or Nordic cross-border ownership. This includes both listed and private groups. Our job is to understand their business and help connect them with the right banking solutions.
You will join an experienced and skilled team of International Relationship Managers. Alongside the team, you will help us understanding new customer opportunities and support the team in preparing insights and analysis, as well as monitor and develop the existing portfolio. Further, you are expected to assist with ad hoc responsibilities ranging from data-related tasks and customer interactions to administrative duties.
This role will expand your network through dialogue with relationship managers, experienced advisors and specialists in areas such as Cash Management, Markets, Asset Finance and Pension. Our cross-Nordic advisory teams primarily interact with clients via Microsoft Teams and other virtual platforms.
The role
“We have a great social and professional collaboration across the team, and you will get the opportunity to work with international clients and colleagues. So, if you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, with daily new challenges, and want a student job with a steep and wide learning curve from day one, I recommend you apply for this position”, says former student assistant Rebecca Schwarz (International Relationship Manager).
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for Bachelor students in their 2nd or 3rd semester. We do not expect you to know everything from day one, but what matters most is that you are curious about the banking sector, structured, proactive and motivated to learn.
- You enjoy working with people and building relationships
- You demonstrate great communicative and interpersonal skills
- You have a proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language
- You take initiative and are comfortable asking questions
- You know your way around Microsoft Office suite and are familiar with various AI tools
We are looking for a student with the right mindset. You are someone who wants to explore banking from the inside and contribute to a team working with international corporate clients.
We expect you to be able to work 15 hours during weekdays and we sometimes work under tight deadlines, so flexibility is important where your studies allow it. The location will be at Bernstorffsgade 40 in Copenhagen.
Interested?
If this sounds like a place where you could learn, contribute and grow, we would love to hear from you. Please send us your application, CV, and grades and recommendation letter, if available, through the apply link.
