Student Assistant
EG A/S
Do you enjoy untangling software and putting words to how users can get the most of it? Are you curious about how great products explain themselves to their users? It's not about writing lengthy manuals - it's about understanding a user's context and crafting the exact words that make a difference.
Then you might be the new Student Assistant EG Housing is looking for!
The Role
At EG Housing, we develop software solutions for housing administration. We are looking for a student assistant to help create the support content our users encounter inside our products - the short, clear explanations that appear when users hover over a field, click a help icon, or discover a new feature.
What you will do
- Write clear, context-sensitive help content for our internal systems and customer-facing products, including tooltips, information panels, error messages, and onboarding guidance.
- Learn how our solutions work by collaborating with product managers, domain experts, and software engineers.
- Help create a consistent, user-friendly tone of voice across our products.
- Review and improve content based on feedback from users and colleagues.
- Contribute to making complex software easier to understand and use.
- This is a part-time position based in Aarhus with EG Housing, offering 15–20 hours per week.
What you bring
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme.
- Your field of study could be Communication, Technical Writing, Languages, User Experience (UX), Cognitive Science, Information Studies, IT, Digital Design, or a related discipline.
- You have excellent written Danish skills and can explain complex concepts in simple, accessible language.
- You are comfortable working in an English-speaking and international workplace.
- You are curious about technology and enjoy understanding how software supports people's work.
- You are able to work independently, seek out and collaborate with stakeholders, and ask questions when something is unclear.
- Previous experience with writing, editing, UX, or digital products would be great, but not a requirement.
What You Can Expect From Us
- Hands-on experience working with software products used by housing organisations across the Nordics.
- Insight into product development, UX, and content design.
- Flexible working hours (15–20 hours per week).
- A collaborative and international work environment.
- A hybrid workplace based in Aarhus.
