We work closely together and support colleagues across production by ensuring easy access to high-quality data. By improving how data is structured and used, we contribute directly to optimizing production performance, both economically and in terms of quality.
The role & your impact
In the PIA function, we structure and orchestrate data flows around production processes, making it easier to access, understand, and use complex data. With more than 170,000 tags in our PI system, navigating and analyzing data is a key challenge we help solve.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with colleagues and senior specialists to understand process and data requirements
- Support the development and maintenance of digital tools for process modelling and simulation
- Contribute to model documentation and data structuring
- Communicate modelling assumptions and results in a clear and structured way
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
To succeed as a Student Assistant, you:
- Are currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. biochemical engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering, or similar)
- Have experience with a scripting language such as Python
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines
- Are self-driven, reliable, and team-oriented
Additional skills & interests we value
It is a plus if you:
- Have experience with tools such as AVEVA Process Simulation, SuperPro, DWSIM, or similar
- Have an interest in process modelling, simulation, and industrial data
- Are curious about improving and optimizing production processes
