Long Term Service Agreements team is looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual with keen interest in Finance and Business Analytics to support our continuous journey in improving the financial and business strategy through data.
As a Business Controller Assistant, you will gain valuable cross-functional experience by working closely with Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling, and business stakeholders in an international environment. You will play an active role in our digitalization journey by developing and implementing automation solutions, enhancing reporting processes, and transforming data into meaningful business insights.
In this role, you will not only strengthen your technical and analytical capabilities, but also develop a broad business understanding by contributing to initiatives that improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
More specifically, you will as a Business Controller Student Assistant:
- Supporting the LTSA Controller in daily and monthly reporting activities (invoices, budgets, forecasts, business plans, account reconciliation, project closure, etc.).
- Monitor and maintain BI reports.
- Enhance the reporting activities by identifying automation opportunities to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Analyse performances, completion and KPIs of Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) projects, their Balance Sheets and P&L.
- Acting as a link between operational project teams and the finance organization.
- Assist to the continuous development of controlling processes and reporting tools to improve financial visibility as needed (NWC, Backlog, Overdues, etc.)
- Working with data, systems, and stakeholders across the LTSA organization to support decision-making.
We imagine that you:
- Are currently pursuing a degree within Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related field.
- Have an open and curious mindset and enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders.
- Are proactive and eager to learn about both business operations and financial processes.
- Have a strong digital mindset and an interest in process optimization and automation.
- Possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and are confident working with complex formulas (Lambda, Let, Scan, etc.), Pivot Tables and VBA code (if not, other programming experiences are considered as a plus).
- Have experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Power BI, or an interest in developing these skills.
- Can work appr. 15 hours a week (flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule).
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

You will be part of two closely connected teams: the LTSA organization and the Finance team.
As part of our LTSA (Long-Term Service Agreements) organization, you will join a diverse and collaborative international team consisting of approximately 65 professionals across Project Management, Spare Parts & Logistics, Technical Management, Sales, and Tendering. Together, we manage and deliver long-term service solutions that help our customers maximize the performance and reliability of their assets. The team is primarily based in Denmark (Copenhagen and Frederikshavn), with several colleagues working in our international hubs (Singapore, Spain, Greece, Qatar), offering a dynamic, global working environment with close cross-functional collaboration and opportunities to make a tangible impact on customer success.
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is a diverse and skilled team consisting of 9 individuals from 7 different nationalities. You will participate in the collaboration with the business stakeholders and within the analytical community across the organization. We have a committed approach to our work while keeping a relaxed and collaborative environment in the team.
