Student Assistant, IT & Digital Transformation (TMO)

Tryg Forsikring A/S

Kontorlokation(er):
Klausdalsbrovej 601, Ballerup, Denmark

Are you enthusiastic about large-scale transformations, and do you enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and enabling efficient day-to-day business? And would you like to be part of a journey aimed at placing Tryg as the best insurance company in the Nordics?

About the role | Strategic execution meets tech transformation
In your role as a Student Assistant in the Transformation Management Office (TMO), you will have the opportunity to grow across areas such as program coordination, IT and digital strategy execution, and change management. You will be supporting the broader NextTech program: a cross‑organizational initiative focused on simplifying our IT landscape, strengthening Nordic synergies, and preparing the organization for future technologies and ways of working.

While the exact tasks cannot be fully defined at this stage due to the evolving needs of the NextTech program, the responsibilities below reflect the general scope of work you may contribute to:

  • Program Governance & Coordination: Support the Digital Transformation Lead with the governance and execution of the NextTech transformation program, including steering committee preparation and monthly reporting.
  • Executive Communications & Presentation Development: Create compelling PowerPoint presentations and visual materials that enable effective decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Workstream Ownership & Delivery: Supporting and taking responsibility for an independent workstream within NextTech, whether in project teams or enabling areas like change management.
  • Process improvement: Support the analysis, documentation, and optimization of business processes to drive efficiency and digital transformation.
  • Operational Support & Problem Solving: Own ad-hoc tasks and provide analytical and problem-solving support within the Transformation Management Office (TMO).

We will work together on finding a balance between the areas that suit your desired development path and our current business needs. Working hours are flexible (avg. 15 hours per week), especially around exam periods. There is also the possibility of working from home when needed.

About you | Proactive, structured, and tech-curious
We are looking for a student assistant who can confidently engage with both business and technology stakeholders. You do not need hands-on technical expertise, but you should have a foundational understanding of technical development concepts, methodologies, and terminology. Ideally, you pride yourself on your reliability, follow through on commitments, and take care to deliver a wide range of tasks at a consistently high standard.

We also see that you have:

  • Solid PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A proactive, adaptive approach as priorities can change swiftly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and approach tasks in a structured manner.
  • Any prior experience in similar jobs or organizations is an advantage but not essential.

We welcome applications from bachelor’s and master’s students from different backgrounds, but we expect that you will easily interact with colleagues across all levels in the organization.

About us | Professional, collaborative and future-focused
Transformation Management Office (TMO), which is part of the Business, IT & Digitalization (BID) department at Tryg, drives the execution of Tryg’s largest transformation program - NextTech. As a Student Assistant, you will work directly with an ambitious, supportive team of 12 colleagues with backgrounds from tier-one consultancies (e.g., McKinsey), Big 4 (e.g. Deloitte, PwC) and other C25 companies.

You’ll also become part of our growing student assistant team, led by the Digital Transformation Lead, who will support you from day one in both your professional and personal development. Together, you’ll explore ways to align your career aspirations with the evolving needs of the business.

Curious?
Send your application, including your CV and grades (please include your grades in the CV document), as soon as possible, but no later than 09-09-2026. If you have any questions regarding the role, you are welcome to contact Digital Transformation Lead Natalie Mierswa on [email protected]

The expected start date is 01-10-2026.
