Strategic Student Program (SSP)
Siemens Software – The Industrial Metaverse Starts with You
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid) Internship Duration: October 15, 2026 – March 31, 2027
About Siemens Software
Siemens Digital Industries Software is the foundation of the modern industrial world. As we move deeper into 2026, we are leading the transition into the Industrial Metaverse, where the physical and digital worlds blur to solve the world’s most complex challenges.
Through the Siemens Xcelerator platform, we provide companies of all sizes with the digital twin technology needed to innovate faster and more sustainably. We don’t just predict the future of industry; we build the tools that create it.
The Opportunity
This internship is part of the Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP), our flagship initiative for developing high-potential early talent. We are looking for a forward-thinking intern to join our Rotterdam hub for the Winter/Spring 2026-27 cycle. This isn't a traditional "cold-calling" role. You will be part of a next-generation sales and market development team, learning to orchestrate AI-driven tools to identify business opportunities and tell the story of digital transformation.
As an SSP participant, you will benefit from a structured learning path, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a network across the Siemens global ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
- AI-Augmented Intelligence: Leverage AI-driven market intelligence platforms to synthesize deep-dive insights on prospect accounts and identify predictive buying signals.
- Next-Gen Outreach: Execute hyper-personalized, multi-channel outreach strategies—including AI-assisted video messaging, social selling, and interactive digital sales rooms.
- Digital Ecosystem Advocacy: Increase awareness of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, helping prospects understand the value of Digital Twins and the Industrial Metaverse.
- CRM Optimization: Utilize AI-integrated workflows within Salesforce and Eloqua to maintain data integrity and automate routine tasks.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with our European ambassador network to align prospecting activities with regional growth strategies.
About You
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated (within the last year) with a degree in Business, Economics, or a hybrid Business-Technology track.
- AI Literacy: High level of comfort with Generative AI tools and a curiosity for how they optimize professional workflows.
- Tech Passion: Fascinated by the Industrial Metaverse, Digital Twins, and sustainable industrial software.
- Communication: A natural storyteller with excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing AI-augmented workflows.
Payment Transparency & Engagement Model
Our internship program may be structured as either employment or contingent worker arrangements, depending on local legal requirements. The fixed internship allowance for this opportunity is €750 per month.
For contingent worker arrangements, individuals will be engaged and employed by a third-party provider, not Siemens, and therefore will not be eligible for Siemens employee benefits.
Why Join Siemens Software?
At Siemens, you are empowered to be your best self. We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity as a driver of innovation. We offer a flexible, hybrid working model that respects your work-life harmony while providing deep immersion into the world of industrial tech.
