This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. The pay range for this position is $35 to $40 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of endpoint, platform, or application security concepts.
• Familiarity with edge AI or on-device machine learning.
• Understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
• Experience developing prototypes or user-facing applications.

Required Skills

• Programming experience with Python and at least one of the following: C++, C#, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and version-control practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and work collaboratively.
• Exposure to UX/UI principles.
• Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI productivity tools

Education

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
• Has no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience)
• Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software components for endpoint security solutions.
• Support AI/ML initiatives running on endpoint devices.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Assist with debugging, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Evaluate how AI can enhance security, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with software engineering, security, and product teams.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical stakeholders.

The intern will contribute to endpoint platform security solutions for modern computing environments. This role will also support innovation in edge AI, exploring technologies that improve endpoint security, performance, and user experience.
