Join our dynamic Product Cybersecurity team as a Student Worker, where you will actively contribute to the development and enhancement of cybersecurity tools and processes. Imagine collaborating with cybersecurity specialists to strengthen the security of Siemens Energy products through automation and DevSecOps practices. How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will develop and maintain cybersecurity tools that enhance product development and security processes.
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality within cybersecurity operations.
• Support the integration of security controls into development pipelines and contribute to DevSecOps initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining security infrastructure and platforms, ensuring robust protection against threats.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists, software developers, and product teams to address security challenges and improve outcomes.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• A strong interest in cybersecurity, eager to learn about secure software development and protecting critical infrastructure.
• Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript, along with knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• An automation mindset, enjoying problem-solving through automation and continuous improvement of tools and processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and infrastructure-as-code concepts is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly and effectively.

Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) serves as Siemens Energy’s in-house digital product delivery partner and a global center of excellence for software engineering. Our mission is to develop standardized, high-quality, and scalable software products and services that strengthen the company’s digital foundation and create significant value for both internal and external customers. As part of the Product Cybersecurity team, you will play a key role in embedding cybersecurity into the design, development, and delivery of Siemens Energy’s products and solutions, ensuring they remain secure, resilient, and compliant in an evolving threat landscape.
