Szpirt & Company is looking for interns who are eager to work at the intersection of politics, business development and communications. Take on real responsibility As an intern at Szpirt & Company, you will play an important role in supporting our team in developing public affairs and business development strategies, preparing political briefings and arranging meetings with key decision-makers on behalf of our clients. You will also work on strategic communications, social media and media monitoring. Throughout your internship, you can expect to take on significant responsibility and have the opportunity to lead your own projects. Working closely with our advisers, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality work and strengthening our client relationships.
We are looking for someone who Is currently studying for a relevant degree in political science, social sciences, journalism, communications, business administration or a related field. Is interested in tackling political challenges at local, national and international level. Is comfortable with steep learning curves and able to quickly get to grips with new industries and business areas. Has excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Danish and English. Understands how to structure and write compelling copy that captures and holds the reader’s attention. Is able to work independently and in a structured manner, while keeping track of tasks and deadlines.
What you can expect from your internship Szpirt & Company is a consultancy specialising in public affairs, public relations and business development, helping our clients navigate complex political and commercial environments and turn strategy into action.
You will be based at our office in Bredgade, Copenhagen, where we work closely together in a professional environment with a strong focus on well-being and both professional and personal development.
We are particularly active in life sciences, defence and infrastructure, but our client base spans a wide range of sectors, from some of Denmark’s largest companies to promising start-ups operating across different markets and countries. Many of our clients are global companies, giving you the opportunity to work on a broad and varied range of assignments.
Our aim is for you to build new skills and experience that complement your studies and support your long-term career ambitions. We are, of course, flexible around exams and other academic commitments.
The internship is unpaid, but Szpirt & Company is open to providing a monthly allowance. If the internship goes well, we can discuss the possibility of a part-time role alongside your studies afterwards.
Application We are looking for interns for the spring semester of 2027, ideally from January to June 2027, although we are flexible on the exact dates. The application deadline is 15 October 2026 at 23:59, but we interview candidates on a rolling basis.
The first stage will be an in-person interview where we can get to know each other. If there is a good fit, you will be invited to a second round, where you will be given a case assignment to complete and present at our office.
