Copenhagen Fashion Week is hiring a Communications Coordinator to support the continued growth and international visibility of Copenhagen Fashion Week, coordinating press across communications channels and key seasonal initiatives.

Working closely with the Director of Communications & Marketing and across the wider team, you will play a central role in how Copenhagen Fashion Week is communicated to audiences across the Nordics and internationally, from media relations and the international guest programme to content and communications across our channels.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Director of Communications and Marketing, coordinate Copenhagen Fashion Week’s press and buyer relations, nurturing existing relationships and proactively developing new local and international contacts.
• Assist on the planning and execution of the International Guest Programme each season, managing the stays of the invited press, buyers and key industry profiles.
• Coordinate press activities, including writing and distributing press releases, assisting on pitching coverage and coordinating media enquiries, interviews and other press opportunities.
• In collaboration with Director of Communications, coordinate Copenhagen Fashion Week’s communications and content across key channels, including newsletters, social media, website and ad hoc editorial and creative projects, as well as partner content.
• Oversee seasonal and interseasonal website updates in collaboration with the Brand Relations and Digital teams, including generating content for the website’s News section.
• Manage freelance photographers during Copenhagen Fashion Week, including briefs and schedules across runway shows, presentations, backstage and official events.
