Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive and curious Student Worker to join our Sustainable Operations team. You will be supporting driving LEGO Group's energy decarbonization agenda through data analytics, reporting, project coordination, and stakeholder communication. The role offers hands-on experience in sustainability strategy implementation, energy management, carbon reporting, and renewable energy initiatives while supporting key business decisions and climate commitment.

Core responsibilities

• Support energy data analysis, forecasting, and consumption modelling to inform sustainability and operational decision-making.
• Perform calculations and business case assessments for energy efficiency and decarbonization projects, supporting investment approvals and savings reporting.
• Provide administrative support for project tracking, team activities, and follow-up actions.

• Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and management reporting in Excel and PowerPoint to support decision-making and strategic oversight.
• Create presentations, one-pagers, and storytelling materials to communicate sustainability initiatives and drive stakeholder engagement across functions.
• Document processes, governance structures, and methodologies for the climate and carbonworkstreams

Sustainable Operations is the global department within LEGO Group that leads the change journey towards zero environmental impact in our factories. We lead, design and implement sustainable solutions primarily within energy/CO2, water, and waste - in a circular mindset. Moreover, we are responsible for managing the tracking of realized reductions towards zero-impact, and the programme office for sustainability in Engineering & Workplace. We identify and implement reduction projects in close collaboration with the production sites and other partners

We take our part in a global force for good to reduce negative impact on the environment. Our part in this journey is to reduce energy consumption, remove CO2 emissions, eliminate waste, and reduce water consumption in our Operations in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum two years remaining in studies before graduation.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
• Passion for sustainability, climate strategy, energy management, renewable energy, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Available to work approximately 15-20 hours per week during the semester.
