We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Student Assistant (15–20 hours per week) to join our People & Operations team in Copenhagen. This is a varied, part-time opportunity to support the team across office coordination, employee experience, events, and people-related administration. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the People & Operations team to support our colleagues, keep our systems and processes running smoothly, and help create a workplace where people can thrive.

- Current enrollment in a recognized higher education program throughout the period of employment

- Strong communication skills and close attention to detail
- A strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professional integrity
- Flexibility and the ability to prioritize effectively when new tasks arise
- The ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow tasks through
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with shared digital tools is an advantage
- Professional fluency in English; Danish language skills are an advantage

What You Will Do and How You Will Grow
As an HR & Operations Student Assistant, you will support the day-to-day work of Dalberg Media’s People & Operations team. Your responsibilities will combine practical office coordination with people-related administration, including supporting employee requests, onboarding activities, internal events, meetings, systems, and other initiatives that help create a well-organized and positive workplace. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization and gradually take greater ownership of recurring processes and smaller projects.
From day one, you will learn through hands-on experience, close collaboration, and regular guidance from the People & Operations team. The role will give you insight into how people practices, workplace culture, internal processes, and organizational priorities connect in a growing international organization. As your confidence and capabilities develop, you will have opportunities to contribute ideas and support initiatives related to employee experience, learning, culture, and organizational development—building a strong foundation for a future career in People & Organization, HR, or organizational development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Help maintain a welcoming, tidy, and well-functioning Copenhagen office
- Support core HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and offboarding, employee documentation, and leave records
- Monitor office supplies, refreshments, and other shared resources, and coordinate orders and deliveries
- Maintain accurate employee information, trackers, templates, and shared People & Operations files, with appropriate care for confidentiality and data quality
- Support meeting and event logistics, including room preparation, catering, materials, and practical coordination
- Respond to routine employee questions and support the coordination of recurring people processes and internal communications
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including social events, team activities, well-being initiatives, and other efforts that strengthen the employee experience and workplace culture
- Provide day-to-day practical support to colleagues, including basic IT coordination and troubleshooting
- Help prepare, administer, and analyze employee surveys, summarize key findings, and support follow-up actions
- Handle recurring administrative tasks such as mail, lunch registrations, invoices, and coordination with office vendors
- Contribute to ad hoc People & Operations projects related to employee experience, learning, culture, and organizational development
