PE-Teacher for our French section at the European School Copenhagen

We are hiring a part-time (45%) PE-teacher for our French section in Primary. The position will start on December 1st. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to increase the position to full-time.
We are looking for a teacher:
- Who has teaching qualification
- Who is fluent French speaker or has mother tongue proficiency
- Who can speak English at a professional level as this is our common collaboration language
- Who will show outstanding commitment and ability to engage students and assist in developing their social, creative and personal skills
The ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in supporting student wellbeing and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all children feel safe, valued and able to succeed
- Proven experience in managing more challenging classroom dynamics and supporting students with a range of behavioural needs, using consistent, positive and effective behaviour-management strategies
- Experience in intercultural education and skills to assist pupils in navigating an international, culturally diverse environment
- A passion for strengthening the French community in collaboration with the section and the French community in Copenhagen
About the school:
European School Copenhagen (ESCPH) is a public, international school under the Municipality of Copenhagen and the only of its kind in Denmark. The school has three language sections: English, French, and Danish, spanning from Nursery, Primary 1-5 and Secondary 1-7 with a total of around 1000 students.
ESCPH is an accredited school within the established European School system and as such offers a European education combining the rigorous educational requirements for European Schools with Danish school culture and working guidelines.
