Internship in the R&D department (histology laboratory) (f/m/d)

Would you like to gain practical experience in a modern laboratory and gain an insight into the world of histology? Then you've come to the right place. During your internship, you will work in the R&D department and closely with our histology team and get to know the processes of an international research company.

Your tasks:

• Support in the preparation and processing of tissue samples
• Cutting of histological specimens (optional)
• Conducting and evaluating histological experiments (e.g. classical histological stains, immunofluorescence staining)
• Statistical evaluation, presentation and interpretation of data
• Support in the documentation and archiving of samples and results
• Collaboration in the organization and maintenance of the laboratory area
• Compliance with quality, safety and hygiene regulations
• Assisting the team with general laboratory and research operations
• Collaboration in the preparation of collected data for marketing purposes

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent
• Interest in laboratory work and histological methods
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
• Careful, structured and reliable way of working
• Fluent in written and spoken English or German
• Ability to work in a team and high willingness to learn
