Join Vestas Global Procurement for an exciting internship in the Autumn of 2027 as part of your Master Program and immerse yourself in a constantly changing international environment where innovation meets sustainability. At Vestas, our Global Procurement team is essential for advancing sustainable practices globally. Our team specializes in strategic sourcing, carefully selects high-quality suppliers, negotiates significant contracts, and guarantees efficient product and service delivery worldwide—from manufacturing facilities to job sites.

You can expect to be working in one of the following departments. We will assign you according to your experience and suitability for the role:

• Direct Procurement – Strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost optimization

• • Handles procurement of core materials and components directly linked to turbine production and construction.

• Strategy and Governance - Process optimization, digital tools, performance analytics

• • Implements continuous improvement through data-driven insights, standardized processes, and procurement innovation.

Responsibilities

As an intern in Global Procurement, you’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Your journey will be tailored to your interests and strengths, ensuring a steep learning curve and meaningful contributions from day one.

You will:

• Collaborate Globally – Work with cross-functional teams globally, gaining exposure to diverse perspectives and business practices.

• Build Your Network – Build your professional network by engaging with stakeholders at all levels, while developing a holistic understanding of business operations through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

• Apply Theory to Practice – Apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges, contributing to impactful projects in sourcing, sustainability, and supplier management.

• Strategic procurement insights – Support initiatives in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contracting - helping shape resilient and efficient supply chains.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master’s degree in Denmark within: Supply Chain Management, International Business, Innovation Business Development, Economics or similar (Cand.Merc).

• Able to work fulltime from our offices in Aarhus N.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
