Student assistant to the Controlling and Contracting department within IT

The position IT Finance at MAN Energy Solutions is looking for an analytical and business-oriented student with a good understanding of data-treatment and IT systems to join our team in Copenhagen.

You will get the unique opportunity to develop your knowledge within finance and controlling along the way as you will learn about our processes and becoming an integrated part of our team. The student position also offers a lot of room for trying out new things within the field of reporting, BI tools and process automation.

You will play an important role in:

• Supporting in Planning and Budget Processing for Group IT, e.g. price calculations for IT services
• Take part in the preparation of Intercompany Charging to the International Group Companies twice a year
• Prepare internal charging of IT costs in Denmark and Germany
• Support with ad-hoc tasks

We imagine that you:

• You are currently studying within Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 1,5 years left of your studies.
• You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas etc.).
• You possess strong analytical skills
• You are an independent, motivated learner and a collaborative team player.
• Strong English skills is required, both written and spoken
• Preferably you have already gained some professional experience within the area of Finance or similar during an internship or another student position

Welcome to IT Controlling and Contracting The setup of your future team is as follows. A big part of the team sits in Augsburg with 4 fulltime colleagues & 2 working student and besides that you’ll have 1 colleague in Oberhausen and 3 colleague in Copenhagen. The backgrounds are diverse as we, in addition to steering the controlling topics in IT, also tackle different topics in the team such as contracting and software license management. From an organizational point of view, the team sits under IT Governance, giving it a lot of exposure to different stakeholders within the IT. The Head of IT reports to the CFO.
