We are looking for a Junior Analyst (Student Assistant) to join the Procurement Excellence Team. The main purpose of our department is to support our procurement colleagues around the globe by providing procurement related business intelligence and supporting systems.

Your main role will be to support projects with financial background checks (Credit Risk Assessments) of potential suppliers and ensure that projects have a full understanding about financial risks which might be connected to a supplier.

You will work within a team of 7 young professionals, with a wide range of areas of expertise and a culturally diverse background. Furthermore, Procurement Excellence acts as the procurement talent incubator within COP and thus you should expect an environment with high focus on personal development and feedback. In this spirit you can also expect to get exposure to other procurement tasks if there is time next to the Credit Risk Assessment tasks.

If you are studying finance, business or a related bachelor's or master's degree, can work between 15 to 20 hours a week and have an interest connecting financial statements with project applications, then this could be for you!!

You will support initiatives including:

  • Credit Risk Assessment, in which you will evaluate the financial information of suppliers and provide easy to understand summaries to project to help them during the supplier selection.
  • Occasionally provide deep dives in supplier profiles if a project has special interest in a certain supplier
  • Potentially support in price benchmarking and the operation of our price database
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Are studying finance, business or a related bachelor's or are in the end of your bachelor or the first year of your master's degree.
  • Work structured, self-driven and goal oriented.
  • Have experience from/interest in working with financial analysis.
  • Have an excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Can prioritize how to handle support request from multiple stakeholders with different focus areas and timelines.
