This makes the market exciting and complex, requiring continuous insight, proactive thinking, and strong commercial understanding.

How will you make an impact
As a Commercial Business Development Intern within Foodservice, you will join the Customer Development Team and become part of a team of 20 colleagues, ensuring strong collaboration and learning throughout your internship. You will work in a focused sub-team of five skilled professionals, delivering commercial analyses that support the overall strategy of Arla Denmark.

Your main projects during the internship

• Track and analyze Foodservice performance, identifying trends, key focus areas, and learning opportunities to support Sales and Marketing decisions
• Deliver clear market and commercial insights through in-depth analyses across multiple data sources, including macro trends, FMCG development, Foodservice sales, and shopper and consumer behavior
• Optimize and automate data workflows by integrating new data sources, streamlining processes, and enabling more efficient, scalable reporting and analysis

As an intern, you will help transform data into actionable recommendations and support the team in translating insights into concrete commercial actions—strengthening Arla’s Foodservice performance and creating value for our customers.

What will make you successful
We are looking for an independent and analytically strong intern who can turn insights into commercial actions and act as a key support for the Foodservice agenda. The role includes close collaboration across Foodservice functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Global teams. Furthermore, we expect you to be

• Top-performing student with strong academic results, studying Retail Management, International Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
• Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Analytical and numbers-driven, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in Power BI as an advantage.
• Self-driven, structured, and detail-oriented, able to maintain an overview while delivering high-quality work on time.
• Positive, results-oriented, and proactive in approach.
